This skirt caught my eye right away not only because it was high waisted (which I love) but for its beautiful details. The eyelet and stitching throughout the entire skirt made it feel very vintage and feminine. Even though orange is not what I would consider "my color", I ended up convincing myself that with this amount of detail, I could make anything my color. Even unflattering orange.
Does anyone have any advice on ways to get over this color "phobia"? I'm such a cool color girl and I want to find new ways to get some warm colors into my wardrobe. What do you do to get out of a color rut?
That skirt is really cute. Orange isn't my color either, but you pull it off really well! Why don't you try to get some "warm color" accessories? That way, you'll have them seubtly in your wardrobe at first...then work your way up to actual pieces?
Absolutely love the skirt. Can't believe it's thrifted and that someone would want to part with it.
